James Gardom The Dean and Chaplain is the Rev'd Dr James Gardom. He moved to Pembroke, from St Andrew's Chesterton. Before that he was Dean of Studies at a Theological College in Harare, Zimbabwe. His area of academic interest is Evil and suffering as a problem for Christian Believing. He is affiliated lecturer with the Faculty of Divinity, teaching and supervising in the area of World Christianity. His room is J2. Sam Barrett The Director of College Music is Dr Sam Barrett.
He is responsible for providing training and advice to the organ scholars on the basis of his professional experience as both an organist and a singer. He conducts and sings with the chapel choir and welcomes enquiries about organ scholarships or any aspects of the choir's activities. He can be found in term in D9b, Old Court on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

Organ Scholars: Joseph Ashmore is the Senior (Kenderdine) Organ Scholar, assisted by the Junior (Graham Maw) Organ Scholar, Katrina Faranda Bellofiglio.
Joseph is reading the English Tripos and Katrina the Music Tripos. They are key players in the life of the Chapel, responsible for the Choir of 24 voices (potential members are always welcome to audition) as well as contributing to Chapel worship at the organ on Sunday mornings and evenings and on feast days, and leading the singing at the weekly plainchant Evensong. They should also be contacted by anyone wishing to play the Chapel organ.
