Students with disabilities

Pembroke welcomes applications from students with disabilities. If you apply we will assess you on your academic potential to do well in the course you wish to study, and then discuss with you the sort of support that you may require.

It is, however, sensible to get in touch with the undergraduate admissions tutor or graduate tutor at an early stage to discuss the help you may need and to look at the facilities that we can offer. Inevitably with very old buildings, access is not always straightforward. However, Pembroke has made efforts to make the College as accessible as possible and many students with disabilities have studied successfully here. We will make further adaptations, where possible, but for detailed information on access in Pembroke, see http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/univ/disability/guide/colleges/pembroke.html >

The Cambridge Disability Resource Centre can provide excellent support and advice. We would encourage you to contact Margot Chadwick, the Disability Support Co-ordinator, by telephone on +44 (0)1223 332301 or by email on mf260@cam.ac.uk before you send in your formal application. Specialist advice on dyslexia is also available from the Disability Resource Centre.
