Pembroke College, Cambridge

Undergraduate admissions

Studying for an undergraduate degree at Pembroke is a rewarding experience, with the dual benefits of the University's outstanding teaching and research facilities and the excellence and variety of the College environment. At any one time, there are around 440 undergraduate students studying for a degree at Pembroke.

An undergraduate student comes to study but also to experience a way of life that has evolved over centuries, among many eminent people in all areas of study and with students from different backgrounds.

Undergraduates at Pembroke study a wide variety of courses. Fees are payable by all students, and there are a number of awards available to help ease the cost of studying.

Pembroke seeks to admit students of the highest intellectual potential irrespective of social, racial, religious and gender considerations. We actively encourage, through our Access initiatives, applications from groups that are, at present, under-represented within the College.

Cambridge Pre-U

We welcome applications from students who are either studying towards the full Cambridge Pre-U Diploma or certain Principal Subjects within the qualification alongside A-levels. Conditional offers will be set on an individual basis but are likely to be in the region of D2, D2, D3.
