We are pleased to announce that Pembroke College Choir will be performing in New York (NY), Kent (CT), Boston (MA), Newport (RI) and Providence (RI) during a tour of the east coast of the United States in July. The choir’s visit coincides with the 350th anniversary of the granting of the Royal Charter by Charles II to the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations on 8 July 1663. The colony was co-founded by Pembroke alumnus Roger Williams (BA 1627). (For more information on Roger Williams, please see page 5 of the 2013 Martlet.)
