The fifteenth Andrew Chamblin Memorial Lecture, entitled "From the Possibility to the Certainty of a Supermassive Black Hole", will be given by Nobel Laureate Professor Andrea Ghez, at 5 pm GMT on Wednesday 3rd November online by Zoom with a Q&A afterwards.
Professor Ghez is the Lauren B. Leichtman and Arthur E. Levine Professor of Astrophysics at UCLA. She was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2020 for her role in the discovery of a supermassive black hole at the centre of our galaxy.
