Graduate Research 20/20 Seminar

All students and Fellows are welcome to come to a special six postgraduates deliver a six minute presentations of 20 slides, each lasting no more than 20 seconds. There will be time for questions after each short presentation and small prizes of vouchers for £25 and £15 will be awarded to first and second places.

The speakers and topics are:

Rachel Blow  -   Making scents of butterfly pheromone evolution
Madeleine Hahne  -  The complex ways religion and geography inform climate belief
Luke Harvey  -   Somatic Evolution in Ageing, Health and Disease
Mark Liang   -  Coming for Hope: Mental Health for Hong Kong British National (Overseas) Immigrants
Alice Oates  -  Polar Politics Persisting: Britain’s Icebreaker Issue
Katherine Schon  -  Whole genome sequencing in suspected mitochondrial disorders

The presentations will be followed by a drinks reception. This looks like being a dynamic and enjoyable event - where participants will focus on conveying the impact of their work in a concise fashion.
