PCMS 'Saturdays at 5' Concert - Christine Buras & Joshua Ryan

The first of our guest performers of this term, Christine Buras & Joshua Ryan will present a sumptuous hour-long programme including Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben, Op. 42 and Strauss' Vier letzte Lieder.

Praised for her rich lyrical timbre, dynamic stage presence, and fearless approach to 20th- and 21st-century repertoire, Christine Buras’ repertoire spans from Baroque chamber music to the operas of Verdi and Strauss - and to contemporary performance art.

Australian organist, collaborative pianist, and conductor Joshua Ryan is a prizewinning graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. He is Organist and Assistant Director of Music of Hampstead Parish Church, Organist of St. Sepulchre-without-Newgate (the National Musician’s Church), accompanist of Dulwich Choral Society, and pursues a busy portfolio career alongside these positions.
