Permission Request Form

This form must be completed by the representative of any Pembroke College Society or any individual Pembroke student wishing to hold, and assume responsibility for an event in one of Pembroke College’s public rooms or a garden (May week only).   Your request will be brought to the attention of the Senior Tutor, Dr Tucker, who may ask to meet with you before the booking is approved.

Please use this form to request permission to hold an event in a College owned room (or garden)

  • All speaker meetings must satisfy the College code of practice (as prescribed by the Education (No.2) Act 1986).
  • If more than 15 people are to attend a party or dinner involving alchohol and/or music a list of stewards must be provided (one for every 10 guests)
  • Noise levels require attention: exercise consideration for those in surrounding rooms and buildings. If the event involves alcohol or amplified music or both, a permission letter is required from the Senior Tutor’s Office.
  • Anyone booking a room must read the General Conditions for Use of Public Rooms. Please tick below to confirm that you have done so.
