Research Interests: Richard Ned Lebow is Professor of International Political Theory (half-time) in the War Studies Department of King’s College London and the James O. Freedman Presidential Professor (Emeritus) of Government at Dartmouth College.  His most recent books are Max Weber and International Relations (Cambridge, 2017) and Avoiding War, Making Peace (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2017), National Identifications and International Relations (Cambridge, 2016), Constructing Cause in International Relations (Cambridge, 2014). The last was the runner-up for the Charles A. Taylor Book Award from the American Political Science Association for the best book in interpretative methodologies and methods. Professor Lebow is a Fellow of the British Academy.
