Ryan Schill (M.Phil, PhD, Cambridge) has been a professor at Middlebury and lectured at Berkeley and Stanford. He is currently a professor at INCAE Business School, Costa Rica in the MBA programme. Schill has served as CEO in small 100-200 employee sized organisations, led start-up firms in the acquiring of seed funding, and guided companies on through to acquisition. For nearly 20 years he has been an impact investor in Latin America with a particular interest in combating housing poverty.
At Cambridge his research focused on innovative and alternative economic inquiries into household portfolio compositions. Currently he is researching the emotional economy, gender, decision-making and financial innovations. In industry, Schill has been a keynote speaker at Symantec, The Virgin Group, and recently spoke at Google on the topic of incentives and consumer behaviour.
