Before coming to Cambridge Pascale studied psychology with a special emphasis on psychology and law, criminology and sexual medicine at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel in Germany. Her PhD focuses on vulnerable witnesses and how special measures support and protect them during giving testimony. She is especially interested in the first contact between victims and the police. The PhD is being supervised by Dr. Katrin Müller-Johnson.
In support of her studies at the Institute of Criminology she has been awarded the following scholarships: an ESRC Studentship (University fees and Colleges fees at the Home/ EU rate) as well as a PhD fellowship granted by the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
