Dr Emma Salgård Cunha

Emma Salgård Cunha completed her doctorate at Trinity College, University of Cambridge in 2013. Her research and teaching focus on eighteenth-century literature and early evangelical literature. She has published on William Cowper, George Whitefield and John Wesley, and her monograph John Wesley, Practical Divinity and the Defence of Literature appeared in 2017. Her current collaborative project is a on dying well from 1700-present. Until recently she was a College Lecturer at Keble College, Oxford and Lecturer in English at Middlebury College’s Oxford Humanities Programme. Emma continues to teach widely across several of the Cambridge colleges and is currently the Access and Outreach Officer at the Faculty of Divinity.
