Dr Hannah Mumby

Dr Mumby is currently a Drapers’ Company Research Fellow at Pembroke College and a Society in Science Research Fellow, at the Department of Zoology at the University of Cambridge.

Dr Mumby’s PhD was on how life history of Asian elephants is influenced by environmental factors – including climate and stress.

Her new research focusses on the male side of elephant ecology and conservation. She runs the Bull Elephant Network Project and is a Research Associate at the South African non-profit organisation called Elephants Alive and DST-NRF Early Career Research Fellow at the University of South Africa.
