Dr Joe Sampson

Dr Joe Sampson is the David Li Fellow in Law at Selwyn College, and an Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Law. He has a BA in Law, an MPhil in Medieval History and a PhD in Law, all from Trinity College, Cambridge. He has taught on the PKP Introduction to English Common Law course since 2013, and will this year oversee the portion of the syllabus relating to homicide. He supervises Cambridge undergraduates in Criminal Law, Land Law, Roman Law and Legal History, and lectures in Roman Law. His research is primarily legal historical in nature, focusing both on Roman Law and on the intellectual history of wrongdoing.
