John Adenitire is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge. Before coming to Cambridge, he earned an LLB degree from the University of Birmingham and a master’s degree from the University of Durham (MJur). This is his second year teaching on the PKP Introduction to English Common Law. His research examines the legal practice and moral justification of granting exemptions to conscientious objectors. He is a qualified solicitor and has worked in a number of research and teaching positions, including at the Commission on a Bill of Rights, the University of Birmingham and Cambridge. His work has been published in several international journals.
