This course offers an introduction and overview of public international law, the legal system that aspires to order human affairs at the international level.

Intended Audience

Any students interested in a legal career and/or in international relations and global affairs would be most welcome to attend the course.

Previous Knowledge

No previous legal knowledge is required for this course. However, a background in international relations, political science or history will be advantageous.

Transferable Knowledge and Skills

This course introduces students to methodologies and ways of reasoning that are relevant to those who are likely to encounter legal issues in their future endeavours.
