Outi Keranen has PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research interests are in peace and conflict in international relations and she has undertaken research on internationally-led statebuilding missions in post-conflict states. Outi is currently working on rebuilding obligations following international ‘R2P’ interventions. Her research extents also to peace processes beyond conflict zones: she is part of a research project that collects data on different representations of the Euro zone crisis and her part of the research focuses on the implications of the crisis on the EU as a peace project. She has previously taught political science, international politics and international political economy at the London School of Economics, University College London and University of Westminster.
