These are medium-sized rooms within the colleges or particularly large rooms in the hostels. They may contain more furniture than the smaller rooms. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared with other students. There is a regular housekeeping service.

 

Pembroke College rooms are situated around Pembroke courtyards and gardens. All rooms are for single occupancy and share bathroom facilities. Simple cooking facilities are available in the shared kitchen areas (known as “gyp rooms”). Rooms in Pembroke College are a five to ten minute walk from the main lecture venue (the Department of Engineering on Trumpington Road) and just five minutes from King’s College and the city centre shops and restaurants.

 

Fitzwilliam Street

 

Pembroke’s houses on Fitzwilliam Street are conveniently located very close to  Pembroke and King’s Colleges and a five to ten minute walk from the main lecture venue (the Department of Engineering on Trumpington Road). The renowned Fitzwilliam Museum is just across the road and the shopping centre is easily accessible. These 19th century houses have backyard patios. These specific group of rooms at Fitzwilliam Street all have their own private bathroom and they are for single occupancy with shared, basic kitchen facilities.

Webbs Court

Webb’s Court rooms are medium-sized rooms within King’s College. They may contain more furniture than the smaller rooms. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared with other students. There is a regular housekeeping service.

 

 

Kennedy Building

 

The rooms in S Staircase (the Kennedy Building) are all within King’s college. They may contain more furniture than the smaller rooms. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared with other students. There is a regular housekeeping service.

 

 

Bodleys Court

 

Bodley’s Court rooms may contain more furniture than the smaller rooms. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared with other students. There is a regular housekeeping service

 

 

 

Spalding

 

King’s College’s Spalding Hostel lies in the heart of the city centre, close to the market square, the Cambridge Arts Theatre, shops and restaurants. It is just a few minutes’ walk from King’s College, five to ten minutes from Pembroke and about fifteen minutes from the lecture venue. The hostel has its own television/common room. Rooms are medium-sized, for single occupancy with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities
