Founded in 1347, Pembroke College is one of the University of Cambridge’s oldest and most attractive colleges. Pembroke is unique in its long-term experience of delivering an unrivalled calibre of programmes for international students.
Pembroke College is ideally situated in the centre of Cambridge, within a few minutes walking distance of the main tourist attractions and University buildings. To explore the College, take a virtual tour.
The International Programmes Department offers international students the amazing experience of living and studying in the University of Cambridge, one of the world's most famous universities. Among a range of programmes, the Pembroke-King’s Programme and the Semester Abroad Programme welcome independent applications from any interested students at colleges and universities in the US and elsewhere.
The Pembroke-King's Programme is an eight-week summer programme which allows students to take three courses for credit taught in the Cambridge style, live in the beautiful surroundings of Pembroke and King's Colleges, and enjoy the very best that Cambridge student life has to offer. The highly competitive Semester Abroad Programme spans two Cambridge terms (mid-January to mid-June) and is open to academically outstanding juniors who would like to follow a regular Cambridge degree course as fully matriculated members of the University. Pembroke also works with the University of California Summer Sessions and Japanese universities to provide academic programmes specifically tailored for their students.
