Dr Rowan Boyson

Rowan Boyson is a Research Fellow at King’s College, Cambridge, where she is currently working on her first monograph about pleasure and Romanticism. Her research interests include Romantic poetry (especially Wordsworth), literary and critical theory, the history of science, and theories of affect and emotion. She has published in New Formations and has written for Literature Compass. She wrote a PhD in English at Queen Mary, University of London, and prior to this she obtained an MPhil at Cambridge, and was a Knox Fellow at Harvard University in 2002-3. She has taught widely on poetry, the novel, the history of philosophy and theory at Queen Mary, University of London and at London Metropolitan University as well as in Cambridge.
