Edinburgh

None One of the highlights of the programme is a four-day excursion to Edinburgh. This trip includes visits to Fountains Abbey and Richmond Castle en route. In Scotland itself, students enjoy an action-packed weekend. Organised options include hiking in the beautiful Trossachs, known as the ‘Highlands in Miniature’, walking up Arthur’s Seat, a hill offering splendid views of the city, and visiting Rosslyn Chapel, an ancient church featured in the Da Vinci Code film. PAs arrange further visits around the city, taking in the castle, royal palace, parliament, museums and galleries. Students are also free to explore Edinburgh on their own, and meet up with PAs at restaurants or pubs in the evenings.
