A handy approach to transplants
Pembroke’s graduate students are at the cutting edge of research.
PhD candidate Omar Hausien (2009) works in academic surgery. He is part of an innovative project to develop standardised protocols for superior reconstructive surgery. In this presentation from our 20/20 graduate seminar, he talks about his work on hand and arm transplants.
Please be warned that, given the nature of the research, the presentation contains graphic images.
Omar is based at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge. His supervisor is at Johns Hopkins University.
