Adam Smith Lecture, 22 November 2010
On Monday 22 November 2010 Lord Lawson of Blaby delivered the Inaugural Adam Smith Lecture at Pembroke College Cambridge. The College is inaugurating this lecture series to mark the establishment of the Adam Smith Fellowship in Political Economy. 5th Annual K G Sykes Lecture in Italian Studies, 12 November 2010
Professor John Foot of UCL delivered the 2010 Italian Studies Lecture, entitled 'Italy and Divided Memories: Stories from World War II.'

TED HUGHES: a conversation
In September 2010 Pembroke hosted an international conference, TED HUGHES: FROM CAMBRIDGE TO COLLECTED, which attracted some sixty scholars from around the world. As well as thirty-three papers on aspects of Hughes' work the conference included a reading by Simon Armitage, a lecture by Jonathan Bate -- and this conversation, held on the conference's final evening on 17 September, between two of Ted's friends from his years in Cambridge and London, Daniel Huws and Richard Hollis. Carol Hughes read a memory of Ted contributed by Terence McCaughey. The conversation is chaired by Colin Wilcockson, and features questions from conference delegates, as well as a song....
