Pembroke poet wins Gregory Award

Phoebe Power, a first year English undergraduate, has been awarded an E.C.Gregory Award by the Society of Authors. Gregory Awards reflect outstanding promise in British poets under the age of thirty. Phoebe, who is from Cumbria, has been writing poetry for years, and was a Foyle Young Poet of the Year in 2009. She is the secretary of Pembroke’s own poetry society.
