China Media Summit

The Chinese Weekly, run by Pembroke alumnus Kai Dai, held a media summit here in College on 27 – 28 September with around 40 top Chinese media delegates, who listen to talks from Mark Damazer (former Controller of Radio 4), Sian Kevill (previously with BBC World News), Rob Grimshaw (Managing Director, Financial Times) and Mike Smartt (founder and editor- in-chief of BBC News Online).

Following this closed session, the group moved to the Guildhall in Cambridge where they held an open forum on the subject, and were joined by other guests.
