On Friday Pembroke held its 62nd PCCS Scottish Dinner, in Edinburgh. It was the first of six alumni events which will be held in the UK and around the world, over the next five weeks.
We traditionally arrange three regional PCCS (Pembroke College Cambridge Society) dinners in November. The annual South Western Dinner will be take place at the Carlton Club in Bristol on Friday 9th and the 86th London Dinner, in the beautiful surroundings of the Drapers’ Hall, will be held on Thursday 22nd.
Pembroke has over 9,000 alumni, of whom just over 3,000 live outside the UK and who are often unable to attend our Cambridge or UK based events. However, we are very fortunate to have Members living overseas who act as representatives for the College and arrange alumni events locally. On Tuesday 27 November a dinner has been arranged by Dr Arnie Guha (1994) for Canadian Members at the Colonial Club in Toronto, with the College’s Admissions Tutor, Dr Caroline Burt, in attendance. On Tuesday 4 December there will be a ‘Pembroke in Hong Kong’ Dinner at Club Lusitano and the Master will host a drinks reception in New York on Wednesday 5 December, venue tbc.
Details of these and other events can be found on the Alumni and Development pages of this website. If you’d like further information on any of the forthcoming events, please contact the Development Office by email, or by telephone on +44 (0)1223 339079.
If you are a Member who lives outside the UK and would be interested in arranging an event for Fellow Pembrokians, we would love to hear from you!
