by Louise Tompkins

Starting on Wednesday 30th March, Pembroke College hosted a three day residential for Key Stage Four students.Engineering- making paper cranes 3a

The residential was attended by 30 students from 25 schools who were invited to experience various sessions from a practical with Pembroke fellow, Tim Weil, in the Department of Zoology to a load-bearing crane challenge in the Department of Engineering and a lesson in problem solving in the Department of Physics.

The events were designed to give the students the opportunity to see what it would be like to study sciences at a higher level.
