On Saturday 19 November, the Kenderdine Consort, directed by Dr Sam Barrett, will perform a programme of Renaissance and Baroque laments in Chapel, at 9pm.
The recital, which is part of the Kenderdine Recital Series, will feature Monteverdi’s 5-part madrigal version of his Lamento d’Arianna, Lassus’s Lamentations of the Prophet Jeremiah, and Purcell’s famous setting of Dido’s Lament.
Entrance is free with a retiring collection in aid of Save the Children, Syrian Refugee Crisis.
