Entrepreneurial Pembroke Postdocs

NeutroCheck, led by Saif Ahmad (2013), have received second prize at the 2018 Postdoc Business Plan Competition, run by Cambridge Enterprise.

NeutroCheck is developing a new medical device to deliver efficient healthcare for cancer patients. The device, which will be simple and cost-effective, is designed to test neutrophil count in the blood of chemotherapy patients. Such a device would cut the number of time-consuming and expensive hospital visits required by cancer patients. NeutroCheck were also finalists at the 2018 Parmee Prize competition, an annual entrepreneurship competition run by Pembroke College.
