The Pembroke Leavers' Group & The 1347 Committee
The College believes that it is important for students to be involved with the work of the Development Office, whether as ambassadors via the 1347 Committee, as fundraisers as a member of the Pembroke Leavers' Group, or as a caller on the annual Telephone Fundraising Campaign.
The 1347 Committee
The 1347 Committee has existed since 1995. Students assist the Development Office at alumni events as well as organising the annual the Pembroke Mile race, alternative careers events and the 1347 Committee Parents' Lunch. Donations from the lunch go towards Student Support, with over £120,000 having been raised for 1347 Committee Bursaries.
The Pembroke Leavers' Group
Established in 1998 as the 100% Club, the Pembroke Leavers' Group (PLG) is a student-run body founded in 2000, which raises money from finalists for specific student-focused College funds, such as Access and mental health support.
