Pembroke College Cambridge

What Pembroke can offer

Bridging business and academia

Since it was established in 1996 the Pembroke Corporate Partnership Programme has built up expertise in “navigating” the University on behalf of our partners and promoting companies’ interests in the University and beyond through

  • seminars, workshops and lectures,
  • internships and recruitment events,
  • studentships and secondments.

The Programme team, with the support of dedicated Corporate Fellows, has a proven track record of successfully working with our partner organisations to scope their research interests and educational needs. Based on individual partner requirements we have brought about enhanced opportunities for

  • research collaboration and consultancy,
  • meeting new talent,
  • undertaking tailored professional secondments and
  • developing business-critical skills

We celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2021, marking our milestone year with a series of activities that recognised this achievement, celebrated the successes we had along the way, and demonstrated the impact of the programme in bringing academia and industry together for the benefit of all.

In 2022, The University of Cambridge and BT celebrated 25 years of working together, and since 2003 BT and Pembroke have likewise been in partnership. In that 25 years a great deal has been accomplished, much of which is detailed in this case study which you can read here.

For a closer look at what we offer, take a glance at these case studies illustrating how we have worked with some of our Partners in the past:

We also run longstanding annual events for some of our Partners, such as the BT-Pembroke Lecture with BT, or the Parmee Prize with Cheyney.
