Harry Clifton is one of Ireland’s most distinguished poets and commentators on poetry.  He has written powerfully and searchingly about national and individual identity in the context of Irish, European and global history.

He will be reading from his latest acclaimed collection, Herod’s Dispensations (Bloodaxe Books, 2019) on Friday 18 October 2019 at 6.00 pm in the Old Library at Pembroke. Tickets are free but places are limited; to reserve a seat please write to Mark Wormald at mrw1002@cam.ac.uk.
