Dr Andrew Cates

Andrew read undergraduate and graduate Maths at Trinity, was an engineering postdoctoral research fellow at Emmanuel (turbulent combustion), worked as a CEO for 20 years (four companies within Shell over 11 years, then of an NGO called SOS Children for 9). For three years prior joining Pembroke as Bursar in Sept 2013 he also sat on the Cambridge University Audit committee.

Andrew is Hon. Treasurer of the Cambridge Theological Federation, Senior Treasurer of the CU Rugby Fives Club and sits on the Cambridge University Undergraduate Admissions Committee, the CU Admissions Management Group and the CU Working Group on Admissions Testing.
