William Pitt Fellow Admitted

On the 26th September 2018 Dr Reza Khorshidi was admitted to his William Pitt Fellowship.

Dr Khorshidi is the Chief Scientist of AIG. Pembroke’s Corporate Partnership Programme is a unique scheme that facilitates mutually beneficial cooperation between the academic community in Pembroke and the wider University, and external organisations. AIG have been a corporate partner of Pembroke since 2012 and have recently renewed their connection with Pembroke, prompting Dr Khorshidi's nomination to the William Pitt Fellowship.

The ceremony was attended by Fellows of the College and Dr Khorshidi's wife, Mona. The admission of a William Pitt Fellow involves signing both the College book and the William Pitt Fellow book, and is followed by gowning of the new Fellow and dinner at high table.
