Pembroke has common rooms for both undergraduate and graduate students.
The Junior Parlour, a.k.a. JP or undergraduate common room, is the place to relax or strut your stuff at our College bops (parties) when the mood takes you.
The room is right beside Café Pembroke (which becomes a bar in the evenings) and boasts a football table, pool table and plenty of comfy sofas. You can watch TV in the room opposite and occasionally in the JP itself. Graduate students are welcome to use the JP.
A laidback social space for graduate students to hang out in, this parlour has a TV, kitchenette, computer, printer and newspapers. Needless to say, cosy chairs abound.
Parlour Committees: JPC and GPC
These committees are elected and run by students to represent undergraduate and graduate communities within the College. They help provide non-academic support for students and organise all kinds of events and initiatives.
