Year 12/S5 Online Subject Taster Sessions
Pembroke hosts a range of online subject taster lectures each year, delivered by Pembroke academics, for state school students who are thinking of applying to Cambridge. If this is you, please feel free to sign up to those that are of interest!

- Linguistics: Tuesday 25th June 2024, 17:45-18:45
- Maths: Wednesday 19th June 2024, 16:30-17:30
- Modern and Medieval Languages: Thursday 6th June 2024, 17:45-18:45
- Psychological and Behavioural Sciences: Wednesday 26th June 2024, 16:30-17:30
- Philosophy, and Theology: Thursday 20th June 2024, 16:30-17:30
- Physics: Wednesday 26th June 2024, 17:45-18:45
How to apply:
To apply, please complete our application form via the link below. Please note that these events are only for UK resident students who are completing year 12 (England and Wales), S5 (Scotland) or Year 13 (Northern Ireland) at state (i.e. non-fee paying) schools.
Applications will close the Friday prior to the date of the event you are applying to.
Eligibility
Due to capacity restrictions, successful applicants must be attending a UK state school (non-fee paying) and considering applying to Cambridge in October 2024.
Should the events be oversubscribed, then priority will be given to applicants attending a school in one of Pembroke College's link areas of:
- Luton, Bedford Borough, and Central Bedfordshire
- Leicester and Leicestershire
- Northamptonshire
- London Borough of Southwark
- Scotland
