Pembroke College Cambridge

Volunteering for Pembroke

There are many ways alumni and friends can become more engaged with the College and one of these is to become a volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include giving a careers talk for students, becoming a year representative or a country representative, mentoring students, and helping Pembroke with its fundraising and alumni relations activities, to name but a few. If this strikes you as something you’d like to become involved with, please see the list below and contact the relevant person in the Development Office.

PCCS Committee

The PCCS Committee represents the views of Pembroke alumni to the College and to provide advice on alumni relations, including on events, publications and communications. Read more about its terms of reference, including the process of election.

Local Alumni Representatives

Pembroke has a number of local representatives in the UK and around the world, who assist it in keeping in touch with alumni in those areas and organise events. If you are interested in becoming a local representative, please contact Sally March.

Reunion Year Co-Chairs

Every year Pembroke invites alumni back for their Reunion Dinner or Lunch to celebrate 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years since matriculation. To make this celebration special, we work with two co-chairs from each year, who help us create a unique experience for their respective cohort. It has become an established College tradition for each year group to celebrate their reunion by creating bursaries. For more information, see here.
