MA Ceremony for 2017 Matriculands

There will be an MA Ceremony for the 2017 matriculands taking place on Saturday, 23 March 2024.
The ceremony is free of charge to attend and you are welcome to bring two guests with you. The evening before there will be a dinner for graduands in Hall. Invitations have been sent out by the Praelector's Secretary and include details of how to hire a gown and hood.

Friday 22nd March – MA Dinner

Saturday 23rd March – Graduation & Lunch
| 9.45 am | Graduands’ Attire check and briefing in the Old Library |
| 11.20 am | Procession from Pembroke to the Senate House |
| 11.35 am | Arrive at the Senate House |
| 11.50 am | Ceremony begins in the Senate House |
| 12.20 pm | Ceremony ends (approx.) |
The MA is conferred by right on holders of the BA degree of the University of Cambridge six years from the end of their first term of residence. It is not an additional degree but confers membership of the University Senate and the right to participate in Discussions, vote in the election of a new Chancellor or High Steward and borrow books from the University Library.
