In this talk, Dan will be speaking about his new book 'Power & Thrones', which is a big new history of the Middle Ages.

Dan Jones is a New York Times bestselling historian and broadcaster. His books have sold more than one million copies worldwide and include The Plantagenets, The Templars and The Colour of Time. He has written and presented many documentary series including Secrets of Great British Castles, which has been translated into more than 40 languages. For ten years he wrote a newspaper column for the London Evening Standard and his award-winning journalism has also appeared in The Sunday Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Spectator, Smithsonian, Time and GQ. Dan read History at Pembroke between 1999 and 2002.
