Dr Hongxia Li

Li Hongxia, a Doctor of Education from Tsinghua University, is also the Principal of Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, a K-12 school ranging from kindergarten to high school with over 9000 full pupils. It is the most nationally honored school in the province. She has served as the Vice-lPrincipal and Principal for some 18 years.

She consistently adheres to the philosophy that "true excellence is when everyone is doing well," dedicating herself to promoting high-quality and balanced educational development. She has supported the enhancement schools in less developed regions . Her research achievements have won her the first prize in national teaching achievements, earning her the title of "National Role Model in Teaching and Educating" awarded by the Ministry of Education.

In recent years, she has undertaken six national and provincial research projects and has won four teaching achievement awards in Hebei Province.

Dr. Li also manages the International K-12 Global Education Research Association, which currently includes member schools from 132 foreign schools across 18 countries. Over the years, the school has successfully hosted seven international conferences, providing a platform for K-12 education professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and insights.

Dr. Li is an expert in leading curriculum reforms, which is also the theme of her thesis. She will collaborate with Professor Geoff on a joint project to compare and contrast the school leadership models in curriculum and instructional reform between Eastern and Western countries.
