Dr Menna Clatworthy Receives Prestigious Award

Congratulations to Pembroke Fellow Dr Menna Clatworthy, who has received a prestigious  EFIS-IL (European Federation of Immunological Societies-Immunology Letters) Lecture Award, awarded to outstanding European immunologists.

She was described by the nominating body as “a true clinician scientist of the 21st century – continuously pushing boundaries of biomedical insight at the interface of fundamental immunology, clinical immunology and systems precision medicine”. (Cited on MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology website)

The Clatworthy lab is interested in understanding how B cell activation and IgG antibody effector function is regulated in different tissues, particularly in the kidney and the gut using cellular and molecular immunology, single cells RNA Sequencing and two photon microscopy.
