Pembroke Japanese University Summer Programmes 2019

Over the last month the International Programmes Department at Pembroke has been delighted to host 107 students from Japanese Universities.

The 13th Nihon Special Lecture Programme, 10th Nihon Postgraduate Programme and 24th Kyushu with Seikei University Programme have continued a long tradition at Pembroke of welcoming international students in the summer to experience the benefits Cambridge and Pembroke College have to offer.

On offer to the students were a mix of academic and language options, taught by lecturers and language teachers, field trips and a number of activities lead by our Programme Assistants.

Speaking on the success of this year’s programmes Cessi Woodburn, the Japanese Programmes Director, said: “It’s been another wonderful summer for the International Programmes Department to host such incredible students. As always, it has been a delight to watch the students grow and develop and I hope they carry with them the great memories made on these programmes.”
