PKP 2019: Welcome to Pembroke!

Pembroke College’s International Programmes Department is delighted to welcome 350 international students from 72 Universities and Institutions worldwide for the start of the Pembroke-King’s Summer Programme (PKP) 2019.

Over the next six weeks our students will benefit from the academic excellence and supportive environment we are renowned for here at Pembroke. At the core of PKP is its academic content and while most students will take three courses across a variety of disciplines on offer, some will also work closely with an expert in their field on an independent supervision project.

Outside of the classroom our students will enjoy an exciting range of social, sporting and cultural activities. With invitations to formal halls, plenary lectures and daily events lead by our team of Programme Assistants we really hope our students are able to make their time in Cambridge and the UK.

Isaac, the International Programmes Administrator, said: “It’s my first PKP this year so I’m looking forward to experiencing this unique programme through fresh eyes alongside the students. It’s wonderful to finally put a face to a name and meet the students in person after several months of sending emails before the programme. I’m sure memories of the next six weeks will stay with the students forever.”
