The Twelfth William Pitt Seminar

Pembroke College’s twelfth William Pitt seminar , entitled ”The Productivity Paradox: are we too busy to get anything done?”, will be held in the McGrath Theatre, St Catharine’s College on Friday 13 October 2017. The seminar will be followed by drinks and dinner in Pembroke.

The speakers will be:

  • Mr Michael Chaskalson, Founder and Chief Executive, Mindfulness Works
  • Dr Bill Janeway, Senior Advisor, Warburg Pincus (Chair)
  • Professor Barbara Sahakian, Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology, University of Cambridge
  • Dr Kerstin Sailer, Reader in Social and Spatial Networks at University College London

The seminar will take the form of short presentations from the speakers, after which there will be a panel discussion involving the audience. That audience is drawn from the College’s alumni, Corporate Partners and students as well as government, media, and academic institutions.
