Rag Jailbreak 2020

This Saturday, 1st February, two intrepid Pembroke undergraduates will be taking part in the RAG jailbreak, seeing how far away from Cambridge they can get in 36 hours, all in the name of charity.

Adam Wills and Nathan JeffsWhile reaching Rio de Janeiro might be a bit optimistic, second-year students Nathan Jeffs and Adam Wills, are looking forward to breaking out of the Lent Term bubble for 36 hours – all while dressed as Super Mario characters, Mario and Wario.

They have already raised £400, but are hoping to raise double that. This year RAG is raising money for a number of local, national and international charities, including Wintercomfort, Refugee Action and Anti-Slavery International.

All money raised via their fundraising page goes directly to the RAG charities. During the 36 hours of the jailbreak, 50% of any cash donated to Nathan and Adam goes towards the charity, while the other 50% can be used for travel costs.

If you’d like to support them, you can make a donation on their fundraising page. Alternatively, if you or anybody you know can help with any travel arrangements (two return tickets to Rio, perhaps?!), please do get in touch.
