Pembroke College Cambridge

The Pembroke Graduands' Council

The Graduands' Council (GC) is a historic philanthropic initiative amongst finalists to fundraise from their peers to support the following cohorts of Pembroke students with a Class Gift.

The 2023/24 Graduands' Council are fundraising for refurbishment of the café into a "student space" (with corresponding donor naming on a shared plaque, usually only reserved for alumni) or Student Bursaries. Those who donate will be sent a link to a voting page to select the cause that most resonates with them, and the fund with the highest number of votes will receive the total raised throughout the year.

The Graduands’ Council is delighted to announce that an alumnus has very kindly agreed to match every donation by the 2023/24 graduands, making the impact of your gift go even further!

We are suggesting an “ongoing” Direct Debit of £13.47 per year to give a nod to the founding of Pembroke, which you can cancel anytime. Of course, any amount is welcome – but at the equivalent of only just over £1 per month, we hope this seems accessible. Click here to donate now!

The standing record for the Graduands’ Council (formerly known as the Pembroke Leavers’ Group, or PLG) is 50.7% participation, and £5,226 raised – we’re confident that the 2023/24 graduands can smash it!
