Meet the Admissions Team

Caroline Burt

Caroline Burt, Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Hi, I'm Caroline Burt. I'm Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Pembroke, which essentially means that I oversee the work of the Admissions Office. That includes running the admissions process for our undergraduate places. I've been at Pembroke since 2009, but have been in Cambridge since I arrived here as a History student many years ago now! I'm originally from Manchester and still love going back to my home town whenever I can. As well as running admissions at Pembroke I am one of the Directors of Studies in History for undergraduates. I also lecture and teach in the History Faculty and am currently working on a book on the medieval period.

Amber Cuttill

Amber Cuttill, Deputy Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Head of Widening Participation

Hi! I’m Amber, the Deputy Director of Undergraduate Admissions, and Head of Widening Participation for Pembroke. My role is to support Caroline in running the undergraduate admissions process, and to oversee the work we do with schools and prospective students from backgrounds currently underrepresented at Cambridge. Many years ago I went to a comprehensive school in Kent, before studying History and Ancient History at the University of Leicester. I love living in Cambridge – there’s beautiful countryside really close by, which is great as I like running and cycling.

Jenna Govier

Jenna Govier, Admissions Officer

Hello! I’m Jenna, the Undergraduate Admissions Officer here at Pembroke. I joined Pembroke in March 2021, after working for a couple of years in the central Cambridge Admissions Office. I’m mostly likely to be the person responding to your admissions related emails and phone calls. I attended a state school in Oxfordshire, before completing my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Biological Sciences with the University of Exeter. In my spare time I enjoy playing squash, and I have a cat called Juniper, who is a bit of an attention seeker. I’ve been living in Cambridge for three years, and I love it here. I’m only ever a short walk from the river, which is where I spend most of my time as a keen rower!

Libby Prodger

Libby Prodger, Schools Liaison Officer

Hello! I’m Libby, the Schools Liaison Officer at Pembroke College. I work with schools across the UK to encourage academically able students from all backgrounds to consider Cambridge. I went to a state school in Bedfordshire (one of Pembroke's Link Areas!) and I've been working at Pembroke since 2019, shortly after graduating from the University of Leeds in German and Linguistics. In my spare time I enjoy going to yoga classes. I'm also a big coffee-lover, so it's great that Cambridge has so many different cafés to try!
